Wet mill: Gara Tunise
Producers: Many smallholding farmers
Elevation: 1900 - 2100 masl

The coffee cherries that compose this lot were grown by smallholding farmers in the Bosecha kebele (ward) of the Nensebo woreda (district) in Ethiopia’s West Arsi zone. Local growers raise local Landrace varieties between 1900 and 2100 meters above sea level, and sell their cherries to the nearby Gara Tunise wet mill, where they are depulped within hours of harvest and fermented in cement tanks for 36 to 48 hours. After fermentation, the seeds are transferred to raised beds under parabolic shade to dry for five to seven days.
We think Nensebo Bosecha tastes like white flowers, lime, and clementine.
