The Dale washing station serves over 750 producers in the Wensho woreda, located in the Sidama region of southern Ethiopia. Farmers grow local landrace varieties between 1750 and 2000 meters, with an average farm size of roughly one acre. After de-pulping, the seeds are fermented for 36 - 48 hours in cement tanks, and then dried for 12 - 15 days on raised beds.
The profile of this coffee is classic Sidama, delicate and aromatic with flavors of white flowers, black tea, and lemon.

This is our eighth year sourcing coffee from Ethiopia through Red Fox Coffee Merchants. We scored an arrival sample of this coffee 87 points and purchased 3 60kg bags for $5.15/lb EXW.
